Recruitment rallies will be conducted for selection of candidates for appointment as Driver for 24 number of vacant posts under Director,Fire and Emergency Services, Assam in the Pay Band Rs. 14,000-49,000/-, Grade pay Rs. 5000/-per month, plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Age: Applicant should be between 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2019. (Relaxation of 5 years in case of candidates belonging to special categories like Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes (P) and Schedule Tribe (H) and 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC under provision of the Reservation Rule and in respect of Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more)
Educational Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification will be Class-VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution and the applicant must possess valid driving license for HMV, (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized authority (Assam State only)
Selection Process: The date and venue of Physical Test and Written Test would be intimated in due course through Admit Cards and through Fire and Emergency Services website https://fireandemergencyservices.assam.gov.in
