Online applications are invited from citizens of lndia for filling up of 25(twenty five) posts of Assistant Professor under Rashtriya Uchchatar Sikhsha Abhiyan in the pay matrix level-l0 of Rs. 57,700 - 1,82,4001- per month plus other allowances as admissible and 33 ( thirty three) posts of Field Investigator, Group 'B' Non-Gazetted, under the Department of Economics & Statistics, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in the Pay Band of Rs.9,300-34,800/- +GP Rs. 4,200 pre-revised)plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees from time to time.

Age: Candidates appearing for post of Assistant Professor must not be above 37 years of age as on 72-03-2079. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST and another 5 years for Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees.
Pay: level-l0 of Rs. 57,700 - 1,82,4001- per month plus other allowances

Educational Qualification: 
(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an lndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks that is from 55% to 5O% marks at Masters Degree level for the ST/SC candidates
(ii) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iii) Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET or recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/lnstitutions.

Age: The candidates must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 32 years of age as on 08-03-2019.
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce with Statistics/Mathematics/Commerce/ Economics as one of the subjects from a recognized University/ Board, that is the candidates having Bachelor's Degree either in

i. Bachelor of Commerce ( B.Com.)
ii. Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours in Economics/Pass course with Economics as an optional subject for six semesters in Semester system or for three years in Annual system )
iii. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.X Honours in Mathematics/Pass course with Mathematics as an optional subject for six semesters in Semester system or for three years in Annual system)
iv. Bachelor of (B.Sc.) (Honours in Statistics/Pass course with Statistics as an optional subject for six semesters in semester system or for three years in Annual system)
